# Welcome to Orbit

Orbit from Postman is designed to be used by anyone, and is built for agents. Connect your AI agent to Orbit, describe your task, and press Enter. Orbit finds public APIs to achieve your goal, provides an evaluation of each API, and generates instructions for your AI agent to use the APIs.

Orbit is self-service: there’s no sign-up, API key, or account needed to call the API. It works entirely with publicly available APIs, so your agent can discover, evaluate, and integrate endpoints without relying on private services.

Your AI agent can [use the endpoints directly](/docs/get-started/quickstart-guide/#use-orbit-endpoints-with-your-ai-agent) or you can [connect your agent to the Orbit MCP Server](/docs/get-started/quickstart-guide/#connect-agents-to-orbit) to automatically search and integrate public APIs for you. You can also [add a skill](/docs/get-started/quickstart-guide/#orbit-skill-file) to your agent to enable it to find and integrate APIs using Orbit.

Use Orbit endpoints directly or connect your agent to the Orbit MCP Server depending on who's doing the calling: your AI agent or you.
